Cline Family Cellars is Hiring an Operations Planner Near Sonoma, CA

About Us: Cline Cellars is a dynamic and growing winery located in Sonoma, CA. We are seeking an experienced Operations Planner to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our production planning, procurement, and new product development processes. As a key member of our Operations team, you'll collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient operations and meet market demands.

Position Overview: The Operations Planner will oversee production planning, procurement of dry goods, and new product development, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and market conditions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining vendor relationships, and implementing best practices for quality control and cost management.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate the Production Inventory Report (PIR) based on sales forecasts and long-term plans.
  • Present PIR to stakeholders regularly and update production schedules accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate bill of materials (BOMs) in Navision and monitor forecasts for supply chain adjustments.
  • Coordinate dry goods procurement, optimize inventory levels, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Participate in new product development processes and implement packaging improvements.
  • Track vineyard metrics to inform long-term strategies for production and sales alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Navision, Claret, Targit, and VinoEZ is a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing operations, including production planning and inventory control.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs intermittently and perform physical tasks as needed.

Pay Range:: $80,000 - $110,000/year (Depends on Experience)
